Canning day



I found organic, heirloom yellow tomatoes on sale. While this summer has been too busy to consider canning I wish I had been able to. This was my first time canning in 11 months- a long time. It was a very small undertaking, but I found it rewarding and soothing to do this old task again. When we lived in Missouri I canned so much, I can't even give a number of quarts. Tomatoes, beans, pickles, jam...
